Worship Ministry

Our worship services are the highlight of the week at Hillvue, as our people gather in praise to celebrate the work of God in our lives. We have five weekly worship services, including three on Sunday morning at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am. We also have "The Gathering" on Sunday night at 5pm in the chapel, and our Wednesday worship experience at 6:30pm. These are all on our campus at 3219 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Worship Choir

The Hillvue Worship Choir is made up of all ages and 100+ singers that lead all three of our worship services complete with a live band and praise team. Our style is varied, much like the praise teams at Hillvue, ranging from black gospel to southern gospel, from rock, to contemporary, to traditional. Practice is Wednesday nights from 8:00PM until 9:00PM. You can come and be a part of this vital ministry at Hillvue. For more information, please contact Pastor Keith Scarborough.

Tech Team

Hillvue Heights Church strives to use today’s media and technology to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Our media & technology ministry consists of volunteers that serve during worship and throughout the week in a variety of roles. These roles include:

Tech Support Team

Includes Sound Team, Lighting Team, Camera Team, Stage Crew, Graphics, and Technical Directors

The worship tech team ministers through today’s media and technology to the thousands of people attending Hillvue worship services each month. Our worship tech team fulfills several important purposes. One of those purposes is to use both sound and image magnification (IMAG) to give everyone a “front seat” no matter where they’re sitting and help them to engage more into the worship experience. A second purpose is to utilize lighting, videos, and graphics that grab people's attention and support the teachings and themes of the day. The third purpose is to capture a quality recording of each worship experience for people to enjoy again or share with someone else.

Media Creation Team

Includes: On-location Camera Operation, Photography, Video Editing, DVD authoring, and Graphic Design

Hillvue’s media creation team ministers to people through the capture, creation and presentation of videos and graphics including:

• Teaching, motivational, inspirational, and highlight videos for worship
• On-campus commercials (for advertising a particular ministry or upcoming event)
• Evangelistic commercials for local TV broadcast
• Memorial videos for funerals
• Photographs & graphics for advertising or for thematic decoration and ambience in Hillvue’s facility

Media Duplication & Sales Team...

This team is responsible for creating duplications of past and present ministry media for people to purchase and for giving away as evangelistic tools or for volunteer appreciation. This team allows Hillvue to minister both to the congregation as well as to people who are not involved in a church. There are a variety of ways you can serve as a part of this team.

Sound Team

Hillvue has an active worship ministry, and with Worship comes the need for sound. This team works with worship teams and other ministries to take care of all the sound needs for ministry here and make sure that the message of the gospel can be heard.

Lighting Team

Hillvue uses light to help convey the message of Christ in worship. This team is responsible for maintaining and operating all the lights both on the stage and off.

Praise Teams

Most of the musical worship at Hillvue Heights Church is led by its five separate Sunday morning teams and four Wednesday teams. Each team is made up of vocalists and a full live band. The individual teams bring their own musical flavor, but all are centered around Christ-honoring worship. The praise teams are auditioned only, and all vocalists are now chosen from our Hillvue Worship Choir.
