The aim of the Women's Ministry is to provide a place for women to grow in God's will through Biblical teaching and prayer in an environment of open fellowship so that all women can be strengthened and learn to apply God's truth to their daily lives. Our commitment is to provide a place of restoration, of sanctuary, where women can experience God's grace in such a way that it communicates evidence of Jesus and His sacrifice.
Ladies Night Out - November 1
Ladies Night Out is a chance to spend an evening with other ladies and strengthen your walk with Jesus. Dinner will be served, and Charlene Osberg will be the guest speaker. Tickets are $15, which you can buy in advance or onsite. Contact Jeff Reynolds for more information at 842-0012.
Bible Studies
We gather weekly on Sunday when you can join the Gospel of John class led by Jeanne Jandt, Connie Logsdon and Becky Lowe (Room 209 - Administration Building), or The Class of Esther led by Donna Wofford, now studying Colossians (Room 202 - Administration Building.)
We also meet on Wednesday night and currently offer "A Shepherd Looks at Psalms", led by Georganne Stepp and Joy Foley, (Room 203 - Administration Building). Our flagship Women's Ministry class goes on year round. (Room 300-301 - Administration Building) This class is led by Charlene Osberg, Shirley Hampton, and Janet Henderson and covers a variety of topics relevant to godly women in today's world.
Single Mothers Oil Change
The Women's Ministry takes an active part in this event. While the moms are having their cars serviced outside, they are inside being served. We minister to them, pray with them, feed them, take care of their children, and make sure they have witnessed the love of Jesus while they visit with us. It takes about 100 women during the Oil Change to make it all happen so come and be a part of this event that not only blesses our community, but will bless you too. You will not be sorry. Special Events
We schedule several special events throughout the year. In the spring we offer a Young Ladies Luncheon geared for girls aged 10-18 so that young women know what it means to live life as a godly women. In the fall we offer Ladies Night Out... one of our favorite events. During Ladies Night Out we enjoy Hillvue's Men's Ministry cooking and serving us a delicious dinner and then we have worship and a special guest speaker. This is one night you will not want to miss.
