Why did I receive this newsletter?

Our newsletter is the online version of "Hillvue Heights Living" which we've been sending by postal mail to our members for several years. Since mid-2008, we've been announcing in that newsletter that we'd be going online, and that we'd begin sending to subscribers via email if the church had your email address on file.

We take your information seriously, and are taking every possible measure to keep our membership informed of Hillvue events while preventing unsolicited email (spam). Still, we recognize that this first email may come as a surprise to you.

If you're receiving this newsletter and you don't know why, possible reasons include:

  • You've joined the church through our membership class.
  • You've requested to receive the newsletter directly through our church office.
  • You've opted-in to the newsletter through our online form.
  • This newsletter was forwarded to you by a friend.
  • We goofed. We do enter the addresses manually, after all, and sometimes read the handwriting incorrectly or make typos. While these normally go to non-existent addresses and bounce harmlessly, sometimes the mistake leads to a legitimate address of someone else, like you. If you think this has happened, please accept our apologies and feel free to unsubscribe. We'd also appreciate if you'd let us know directly so that we can address it.
