Men's Ministry:
What kind of man are you? What kind of man do you want to be? More importantly, what kind of man does God want you to be? The Men's Ministry at Hillvue is dedicated to building godly men who are willing to take on and bless the world in the name of Jesus. We are a group of men from all walks of life who gather to learn from God's Word, to be challenged and encouraged by other men, and to prepare ourselves to live the everyday lives that God has called us to live as men.
A man is a dangerous thing - filled with longings for adventure and conquest - and God designed men that way. As John Eldredge says, "Yes, a man is a dangerous thing. So is a scalpel. It can wound or it can save your life. You don't make it safe by making it dull; you put it in the hands of someone who knows what he's doing" (Wild at Heart, 83). The same is true for men. We may be dangerous, but you don't fix us by making us dull. You put us into the hands of someone who knows what he's doing. That someone is God. Our goal in the Men's Ministry at Hillvue Heights is to place our lives in God's hands and allow Him to use us for His purposes. When that happens, everybody gets blessed.
