We exist to Connect people to a relationship with Jesus through the cross and resurrection, community of faith and the truth of the word of God. These connections lead us to experience Healing and Develop into players in God's mission.
Three key words define what we do...

CONNECTION (c3), HEALING & DEVELOPMENT

Our mission is founded upon the Great Commission and the two greatest commandments given to all believers by Jesus himself.

THE GREAT COMMISSION ~ Matthew 28:18-20

"Jesus said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'"

ABOUT CONNECTION - C3

Connection to Jesus through the cross & resurrection, to the community of faith, and to the truth of the word of God.

  • It is a gift from God that cannot be earned. ~ Romans 3:30-24
  • It happens only through a relationship with Jesus. ~ John 14:6
  • It is the only avenue for total relief from the sinful condition ~ John 8:36
  • It is a process. ~ Philippians 2:12-13

ABOUT HEALING

  • God's healing is about becoming whole. ~ Isaiah 53:4-6
  • God's healing is renewal of the mind. ~ Romans 12:2
  • God's healing is renewal of the physical body. ~ See the Gospels
  • God's healing is renewal of the spiritual condition. ~ Romans 6:1-14

ABOUT DEVELOPING into players of God's kingdom.

  • It means the church is a body made up of many parts. ~ Romans 12:4-6a
  • It means that every converted believer is one of those parts of the body of Christ. ~ 1 Corinthians 12:12, 18-20
  • It means that every part of the body is equally important and has been gifted by the Holy Spirit to do what God needs them to do. ~ 1 Corinthians 12:3, 7
  • In order to develop into a player in God's mission, you must recognize that you are called into ministry. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
  • You are developed through using your spiritual gifts.
  • You are developed through trial and error.
  • You are developed through active participation in the body of Christ.
  • You are a player in God's mission.

We do what we do because God has given us this mission. Everything we do must be dictated by God's call upon us to facilitate Connection, Healing, and Development into players in God's mission.
