Pastor Shane is from Bowling Green, Kentucky. He entered military service with the United States Army Reserve in 1999 as a military policeman. Since then he has served with the 450th Military Police Company in Nashville, Tennessee and the 1/507th Parachute Infantry Regiment at the U.S. Army Airborne School in Fort Benning, Georgia. He graduated from Warrior Forge in Fort Lewis, Washington, and completed troop leadership training with the 2/27th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division (Light) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He is currently on education delay from Active Duty and is assigned to the Chaplain Officer Basic Course in Fort Jackson, South Carolina while he completes the requirements to serve as an Army Chaplain.
He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities in religious studies from Western Kentucky University. He is currently a commuting student of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Shane has been serving on staff at Hillvue Heights Church since 1999. He was licensed into the ministry in February 2003 and currently serves as the Junior and Senior High Pastor.
