Pastor Shane is from Bowling Green, Kentucky. He entered military service with the United States Army Reserve in 1999 as a military policeman. Since then he has served with the 450th Military Police Company in Nashville, Tennessee and the 1/507th Parachute Infantry Regiment at the U.S. Army Airborne School in Fort Benning, Georgia. He graduated from Warrior Forge in Fort Lewis, Washington, and completed troop leadership training with the 2/27th Infantry, 25th Infantry Division (Light) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities in religious studies from Western Kentucky University. Shane has been serving on staff at Hillvue Heights Church since 1999. He was licensed into the ministry in February 2003 and has been serving as the Senior High Pastor. As of August, 2010, he is on leave while serving our armed forces as an army chaplain.
