Fellowship of Christian Educators (FCE)

Hillvue Heights Church believes that schools are a mission field and educators are missionaries. We also believe that educators need support and encouragement. A new ministry is beginning for educators-- The Fellowship of Christian Educators (FCE). The fellowship is for teachers (pre-service, retired, and current) and administrators serving in public or private schools.

We have partnered with Christian Educators Association International (CEAI), the only professional association specifically serving Christians in public schools. CEAI is an organization that encourages teachers to be ready at all times to openly live out their faith in the classroom and take advantage of every opportunity to allow God's truth to surface when appropriate.

About 30 educators met for an informative seminar presented by Roger Dillon, Kentucky Director of Christian Educators International. Roger used an "IQ" test to help each participant test their understanding of United States law and religion in schools. Many common misconceptions were highlighted and corrected in this presentation.
