This is a live picture of the progress being made on the Children and Youth Building that's being built on our campus at 3219 Nashville Road. Construction began with the Groundbreaking Ceremony on April 13, 2008, and it is scheduled for completion near the end of 2009. Come here as often as you like to see how it's coming along.
This angle shows the back-right side of the new building, looking back towards Nashville Road. The concrete structure in the foreground on the left is a ramp and stairs that lead down to the basement level. These were added to the plans after the building pictures below were generated.
Our Worship Center is no longer visible in this image now that the walls of the top floor have been completed. If the camera is panning, you can see the Administration building to the right of the new structure. The connecting area between the two is the entrance to the current atrium, which will be extended to the left and connect between the Worship Center and the Children and Youth Building.
Space for the next generation
This new addition adds 25 new classrooms, five new large group rooms, and an expanded atrium. This is a total of approximately 52,000 square feet, which expands our campus floor space by nearly 70%!
