The image on the right shows a live picture of the progress being made on the Children and Youth Building that's being built on our campus at 3219 Nashville Road. Construction began with the Groundbreaking Ceremony on April 13, 2008, and it is scheduled for completion in August of 2009. Come here as often as you like to see how it's coming along.
Key events to watch:
These start dates are projected and may change or differ from the time of the actual event. Please note that these are start dates, and the completion of each of these will often be several days later.
- April 28: Basement excavation
- June 26: Basement top out
- July 25: Exterior walls - 1st floor
- August 8: Second floor steel and decking
- August 20: Exterior walls - 2nd floor
- September 4: 3rd floor steel and decking
- September 16: Exterior walls - 3rd floor
- September 23: Brick Veneer
- September 30: Roof steel and decking
- November 11: Building enclosed
Space for the next generation
This new addition adds 25 new classrooms, five new large group rooms, and an expanded atrium. This is a total of approximately 52,000 square feet, which expands our campus floor space by nearly 70%!
