On behalf of Pastor Steve Ayers and the entire pastoral staff, we want to welcome you to Fall 2008 at Hillvue! The fall season reminds us that we reap what we sow, and there is a harvest in which our Heavenly Father invites us to participate. We are reminded that seeds planted long ago have the capacity to produce a rich yield. As we step into the Fall Semester, we as a staff want to challenge you to allow the Word of God to be planted firmly in your life so that God might bring forth an abundant harvest of wisdom and maturity in your journey of faith in Christ.
Through the years at Hillvue, we have found that God's Holy Word -- the Bible -- literally changes us as the truth of Jesus Christ becomes an intimate part of who we are. We have begun to understand the power of Jesus' words when He said, "...you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32, NIV). Through Bible Study, we come to know the truth of God like never before, and we begin to embrace the freedom that God has provided for us in Christ. We welcome you to step into that freedom by engaging in a Bible Study this semester.
