The following people may enter the areas:

• Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Mother’s who nurse babies
• Parents of children who have been called to area
• Nursery and Preschool Volunteers

We want to assure parents that capable, APPROVED caregivers are with babies and children during the parents’ absence.  By limiting access we help reduce congestion in the area and ensure safety of the babies and toddlers.

Food

Please feed your child before bringing him/her to the nursery or a preschool class.

We will provide SNACKS only for your toddler age and older and feed bottles to babies (which you must provide).   Since we must watch all the children, we aren’t able to feed meals to individual children.  Please let nursery staff know of any ALLERGIES to particular food upon arrival.   Allergy alert name tags are available at check-in.

Diaper Bag Policy

Suggestions for items to provide in your child’s diaper bag while he/she is with us in the nursery:

• A diaper(s),

• Plastic bottle (enough for baby’s stay),

• Pacifier (if he/she uses one),

• Favorite toy.

• Nursery rooms have extra diapers and wipes and lots of toys.

We will provide you with a diaper bag tag for your child’s diaper bag on the first visit to the nursery. 

Your baby will be happier at church if his/her care is similar to care he/she receives at home.  The diaper bag helps us to provide that kind of care.  Labeling all of your baby’s belongings keeps children’s items sorted in the nursery.
