AWANA Puggles and Cubbies are held on Wednesday nights and are designed to teach your child the Bible through scripture memorization, games, puppet shows, bible stories, songs and other hands-on activities. Our desire is that children realize that they play an important role in the body of Christ because they are created in His image. No one else can fill the special role that God has designed for them.
Cubbies
(Cubbies are three (on or before October 1, 2008), and four-year olds.)
Children who attend Cubbies for the first time will receive a "Bear Hug Brochure," which contains scripture memory verses. Each child works at his or her own pace to complete the brochure. Upon completion of the brochure each child will receive a new Cubbies book and a vest.
As the children learn their Bible verses and references each week they will earn stickers/patches that can be attached to their club vest, which should be worn to their cubbies class each week.
Cubbies have special nights and activities planned throughout the year.
3 Yr Old Cubbies meet in room 105 off the foyer adjacent to the atrium and room 206 on the second floor of the Education Building.
4 Yr Old Cubbies meet in rooms 200, 202 and 204 on the second floor of the Education Building.
Puggles
(Puggles are children who are two or will be two by October 1, 2008.)
Puggles have their own special AWANA curriculum, which includes games, crafts, stickers, Bible songs, stories, and special treats. Also included are weekly take home pages with daily activities for parents and children to have hands-on learning.
Puggles meet in room 102 and 103, off the foyer adjacent to the atrium.
We cannot do this without you!! It is imperative that you take an active role in your child’s spiritual education. After all, if you could give your child anything in the world, wouldn’t you want to give them every opportunity to experience a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ? Eternal life is that important!!
